According to Shiva Purana, Lord Shankar ji created Vishnu ji. Once Shiva ji told Parvati that there should be a man who can follow the creation. Vishnu ji appeared due to the power of power. He was unique. Eyes like lotus, four-armed and adorned with Kaustukamani. Being omnipresent, he was named Vishnu. According to the story, Lord Shankar said that I have created you only to give happiness to people. You should do penance to accomplish your work.
Vishnu ji did penance but did not get the darshan of Shankar ji. Then he did penance, and what do you see, many streams of water started flowing from his body. There was water everywhere.
