Who Is Kalki Avatar?
According to the Puranas, at the end of Kaliyuga, Lord Narayana will incarnate on this earth in the form of Kalki. According to the belief of Sanatan Dharma, this will be the incarnation to end the evil and revive the Satyug. By taking the Kalki avatar, Shri Hari will destroy the sinners from the earth and then the flag of religion will fly.
When Will Kalki Avatar Be Born – When Is Kalki Avatar Expected
According to religious texts, when Kalyug will be in its last phase, then Lord Vishnu will appear on earth in his 24th form i.e. ‘Kalki form’ and from that day Satyug will start again.
It is mentioned in the twelfth Skanda of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita Purana that the Kalki avatar of God will be at the end of Kalyug and the transition period of Satyug. Lord Vishnu will be born as Kalki on the fifth date of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. As soon as he takes incarnation, Satyug will start again and Kalyug will end. At the same time, according to beliefs, the duration of Kaliyug is 4 lakh 32 thousand years, out of which 5,126 years have passed and 4,26,875 years are remaining. That is, there are still about 426875 years left for the Kalki avatar of Lord Vishnu.
It is mentioned in a verse of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Purana that Kalki avatar will be born in a Brahmin family named Vishnuyash in Sambhal village. Lord Kalki’s father will be a devotee of Lord Vishnu, will be a knower of Vedas and Puranas and then Lord Kalki will be born in his house and will end sin.
It is mentioned in the Purana that this form of Lord Vishnu will be endowed with 64 arts. Kalki avatar will ride on a white horse named Devadatta and destroy the sinners and end the evil. In this way, religion will win once again and from that day Satyug will start again.

According to the Puranas, Lord Kalki will be born on the Panchami date of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month in a Brahmin family named Vishnuyash at a place called Sambhal. Lord Kalki’s father will be a devotee of Lord Vishnu, along with that he will also be a knower of Vedas and Puranas. Lord Kalki will ride on a white horse and destroy the sinners and protect religion again.
The purpose of Lord Kalki’s incarnation?
It is believed that as the time of Kalyug passes, atrocities and sins will increase on the earth, there will be a lack of sanskars in the person, disciples will not follow the teachings of the Guru, incidents of murder and robbery will increase and the policies of religion will end, then Lord Kalki will incarnate to destroy the unrighteousness and to restore religion.
Let us tell you that a Kalki Granth is also included in the Hindu religious texts, in which Kalki, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, has been told. Lord Parashuram will be the Guru of Kalki God
Kalki God, who is one of the incarnations of Vishnu Ji, will get guidance from his Guru Parashuram Ji. Parshuram ji is also considered to be an incarnation of Vishnu ji and he has got immortality. Kalki Bhagwan will do penance of Lord Shiva Shankar on the advice of Lord Parshuram ji. This penance will give him divine powers, with which he will destroy the evil from this world.
How will the Kalki avatar of Lord Vishnu be?
It is clearly mentioned in the tenth chapter of Skanda Purana that in Kaliyug, Lord Shri Vishnu will be incarnated as Shri Kalki in Sambhal village. Kalki avatar was also depicted in the 16th chapter of Agni Purana. According to this depiction, like Lord Rama, Kalki avatar will have a bow and arrow in his hand and he will come riding on a horse. It is mentioned in Kalki Purana that Lord Kalki will end the sinners riding a white horse with a gleaming sword in his hand.
Just like Lord Rama, Lord Kalki will have 4 brothers
It is said about the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Kalki, that he will also have four brothers. These brothers will help him in establishing religion. Their names will be Sumant, Prajna and Kavi. Along with these brothers, the Lord will establish religion.
Lord Kalki will marry Vaishno Devi
Lord Kalki, who is considered to be the tenth incarnation of Vishnu, his wife has been mentioned to be a form of Goddess Lakshmi whose name will be ‘Padma’. According to Shrimad Bhagwat Purana, Mata Vaishno Devi, who has been doing penance for many ages to marry Lord Rama, only Lord Kalki will complete her penance and marry her. It is also mentioned in Skanda Purana and Kalki Purana that Mata Vaishno Devi has been doing penance since the time of Rama avatar.
