What Is Neet Exam
The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is organized by the National Testing Agency. NEET medical entrance exam is conducted at both UG and PG levels. To get admission in medical courses like BDS, MBBS, it is necessary for you to pass the NEET UG exam.

NEET Started In Which Year (When Was NEET Introduced In India)
The NEET exam was conducted for the first time in the country on 05 May 2013. Before the National Testing Agency, this exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE.
NEET UG exam was started in 2013, which was announced by the Medical Council of India, but due to disagreement with many states, NEET was canceled. NEET exam could not be conducted in the year 2014 and 2015 also, finally, NEET exam was conducted for the first time in the year 2016.
In the year 2016, NEET exam was conducted in Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese and Gujarati languages. In the year 2017, Kannada and Oriya languages are also added to it. However, now you can give NEET UG exam in 13 languages.
Before Neet Which Exam Was There
NEET was earlier called AIPMT. The full form of AIPMT was All India Pre Medical Test, which was later changed to NEET. NEET exam has replaced All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and pre-medical examinations conducted by states and many medical colleges.
Neet Exam Information
Before NTA i.e. National Testing Agency, the responsibility of conducting this exam was given to CBSE. CBSE was the first to conduct NEET exam in our country India. From the year 2019 till now, the responsibility of conducting this exam lies with the National Testing Agency. Not only NEET, NTA conducts many major examinations across the country.
NEET UG exam is conducted for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges across the country. By passing the NEET UG exam, candidates are eligible to apply for MBBS as well as undergraduate BUMS, BAMS, BSMS and BHMS.
To appear for the NEET UG exam, it is necessary for the candidate or students to have passed 12th PCB i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology.
No maximum limit has been fixed yet for appearing in the NEET exam. Any candidate is eligible to appear for the NEET exam any number of times. To appear for the NEET UG exam, the age of the candidate / student must be at least 17 years.
No age limit has been set for the candidate to appear for the NEET UG exam. Candidates are eligible to appear for the medical entrance exam at any age.
