Eligibility for JEE Main
The following eligibility criteria have been prescribed by the National Testing Agency for the candidates appearing for JEE Main exam.
This exam can be given by students who are in or have passed 12th class or its equivalent class.
12th or equivalent class should have been passed with Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
If you want to take admission in institutes like NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, then you should have 75% marks in class 12th. If you are from SC/ST category, then you should have 65% marks in class 12th.
How many times can you give JEE Main exam?
Students get a total of 6 Attempts to give JEE Main exam. You can give the JEE (Main) entrance exam a total of 6 times in 3 years.
In which language can the JEE (Main) paper be given?
Many languages are spoken in India, that is why keeping in mind the problems of the students, the JEE (Main) exam conducted by the National Testing Agency has been given the facility of giving 13 languages. In National Institute of Technology, the total number of NITs in the whole of India is 31.
